C’est lors de l’assemblée générale que le club dépose son rapport annuel et que des changements importants sont annoncés. Votre participation est donc très précieuse.
C’est aussi l’occasion de rencontrer ou de connaître les membres du conseil d’administration et d’avoir un aperçu des événements et du déroulement de la prochaine saison, de faire valoir vos opinions ou d’apporter des idées nouvelles.

Retour sur Gala Méritas
Le Gala Méritas a eu lieu samedi le 30 avril dernier et notre club était représenté par notre président Stéphane Boutet et la secrétaire Sylvie Carrier qui ont remis des prix aux patineurs. Notre entraîneure du Patinage Plus, Tanya Zapitosky, était également à la soirée en nomination pour entraîneur régional de l’année.

Mentions Spéciales
Diane Décarie a célébré son 50e anniversaire comme entraîneure professionnelle de patinage. Le club a souligné cette étape importante en lui offrant un panier cadeau et elle a été reconnue à l’AGA des entraîneurs de Patinage Québec le 6 mai dernier.
Brigitte Lalonde a célébré ses 5 ans comme bénévole avec le club. Elle est une pièce essentielle dans le bon déroulement du programme de Patinage Plus. Ses conseils ont aidé plusieurs nouveaux patineurs à s’épanouir dans notre sport.
Stéphane Boutet a atteint son niveau OR en habiletés et a été présenté sa médaille au Gala Méritas le 30 avril dernier
Daniel Taborda a passé son niveau STAR 1 en habileté
Shinichi Shibata et Brigitte Lalonde ont passé leurs niveaux STAR 1 en danse, habileté et style libre
Laurence Pinault a passé ses niveaux STAR 1-2-3 en style libre
Melissa Rickerd a passé ses niveaux STAR 2 en danse et STAR 5 en style libre
Fannie Beaulieu a passé son niveau STAR 1 en style libre
Finalement une grosse main d’applaudissement à tous les patineurs du Patinage Plus qui ont passé leurs étapes et se dépassent à chaque semaine !

It is also an opportunity to meet or get to know the members of the Board of Directors and to get an overview of the events and unfolding of the next season, to express your opinions or to contribute new ideas.

Gala Méritas news
The Gala Méritas took place on Saturday April 30th and our club was represented by our president Stéphane Boutet and our secretary Sylvie Carrier who presented awards to skaters. Our coach Tanya Zapitosky was also in attendance in nomination for regional coach of the year.

Special Mentions
Diane Décarie celebrated her 50th anniversary as a professional skating coach. The club marked this milestone by offering her a gift basket and she was also recognized at the Patinage Québec Coaches AGM on May 6th.
Brigitte Lalonde celebrated 5 years as a volunteer with the club. She’s an essential part of the CanSkate team and helps everything run smoothly from week to week. Her guidance has helped many new skaters thrive in our sport.
Stéphane Boutet reached his GOLD level in skills and was presented his medal at the Gala Méritas on April 30th
Daniel Taborda passed his level STAR 1 in skills
Shinichi Shibata and Brigitte Lalonde passed their levels STAR 1 in dance, freestyle and skills
Laurence Pinault passed her levels STAR 1-2-3 in freestyle
Melissa Rickerd passed her levels STAR 2 in dance and STAR 5 in freestyle
Fannie Beaulieu passed her level STAR 1 in freestyle
Finally, a big round of applause to all the participants of the CanSkate program who have passed their stages and surpass themselves every week!
