Après quelques années de pause, la soirée des lauréats de la région de Montréal est de retour ainsi que la portion gala sur glace!
Cette année, le CA a identifié le cours de groupe STAR 1 à OR du mardi soir pour présenter un numéro au gala sur glace. Quinze patineurs et patineuses du groupe présenteront un numéro de groupe de 3 minutes chorégraphié par leur entraîneuse Evelyne Latreille afin de promouvoir le club et le patinage adulte dans la région.
Nous aimerions également féliciter les personnes suivantes, qui ont été sélectionnées comme finalistes dans leurs catégories respectives et seront honorées durant la portion des lauréats.

Le gala se tiendra de 19 h à 22 h 30 (les portes ouvriront à 18 h 30) le samedi 22 avril à l’aréna Étienne-Desmarteau.

Bénévoles Recherchés!
Le club est également à la recherche de 3 bénévoles pour aider durant l’événement du gala sur glace. Soit, deux capitaine de chambre et un·e capitaine d’estrade.
Description des tâches:
- Capitaine de chambre est responsable d’accompagner les patineur·e·s de l’entrée à leur chambre, aux estrades et à la glace et de s’assurer que tout le monde est présent.
- Capitaine d’estrade sera assis dans les gradins avec le groupe et s’assure que le groupe reste ensemble et accompagne les patineur·e·s à la glace lorsque c’est leur tour de passer.
La région demande absolument ces 3 personnes là pour garantir notre participation. Votre implication est donc extrêmement importante pour les patineurs qui travaillent fort depuis plusieurs semaines afin de monter un beau numéro à présenter.
Les personnes intéressées doivent être disponibles le 22 avril de 8h30 – 12h30 et ensuite de 18h à 22h30 à l’aréna Étienne Desmarteau.
Les billets d’entrées pour les bénévoles seront payés par le club donc une belle opportunité d’assister à la soirée méritas et gala gratuitement!

After a hiatus of a few years, the Montreal region Awards Gala is back, including an on-ice portion!
This year, the board of directors has designated the Tuesday night STAR 1 to GOLD group to present a number during the on-ice gala. Fifteen skaters will present a 3-minute group number choreographed by their coach Evelyne Latreille in order to promote the club and adult skating within the region.
We’d also like to congratulate the following people, who were selected as finalists in their respective categories and will be honoured during the awards portion of the evening.

The gala will take place from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) on Saturday, April 22 at Étienne-Desmarteau Arena.

Volunteers Needed!
The club is also looking for 3 volunteers to help during the gala on ice event. That is two room captains and a seating captain.
Description of tasks:
- The room captains are responsible for escorting skaters from the entrance to their room, to the stands, and to the ice and to ensure that everyone is present.
- The seating captain will sit in the stands with the group and ensure that the group stays together and accompanies the skaters to the ice when it is their turn to present their number.
It’s a requirement from the region to have these 3 people in order to guarantee our participation. Your involvement is therefore extremely important for the skaters who have been working hard over the past several weeks to put together a great number to present.
Interested persons must be available on April 22 from 830 am – 1230 pm and then from 6 pm to 10:30 pm at the Étienne Desmarteau arena.
Entrance tickets for volunteers will be paid for by the club, so it’s a great opportunity to attend the awards ceremony and gala evening free of charge!
